Feeling like an imposter in tech? You're not alone! We are thrilled to invite you to our upcoming Pink After Work event hosted by our longtime friends at SEB! This time we’ll dive into the topic imposter syndrome - a challenge many faces. 

At this fun event, we've got an amazing lineup of experts: including a behaviorist, a senior developer, a tech manager, and a new joiner, all of whom will share their personal experiences and insights on navigating and overcoming imposter syndrome. Whether you're new to tech or have been in the game for a while, you’ll leave with some great advice and confidence-boosting strategies.       

The After Work will consist mainly of: 

  • An engaging panel discussion moderated by Katrine Fabricius, Product Owner at SEB. Our panelists will delve into their experiences, offering valuable strategies and perspectives on navigating the challenges of the tech world
  • Pizza, drinks, and a chance to mingle! Meet new people, make connections, and enjoy some good vibes in a relaxed atmosphere.🍕

We’ll dive into the topic of Imposter Syndrome—a common challenge that both junior- and professionals faces, especially in tech. Our panel will feature a behaviorist, senior developer, tech manager, and a new joiner, each offering valuable insights into how they’ve navigated imposter syndrome in their careers. Expect personal stories, actionable strategies for overcoming self-doubt, and expert guidance on building confidence in the tech industry. Whether you’re an experienced professional or new to the field, this event is for you to learn how to tackle imposter syndrome with confidence!

Katrine is a Product Owner within Digital Interaction and Data. She started her career at SEB in 2021 through the Tech Programme, where she gained valuable experience as a Test Automation Engineer for 1,5 years working with SEB's Savings products. She's driven by the pursuit of operational efficiency and fostering innovation and change within my product areas.  
    
Lena is Department manager and Tribe Lead Digital Channels, and has been a part of SEB family for 7 years and have been a tech manager for 13+ years. She's currently responsible for the IT development in web and mobile app channels. Her previous assignments have been within the Insurance and Telco industries holding similar positions. 
    
Leyla works as Data Engineer within the Tech Trading department, focusing on trading data and working mostly with GCP. After 4 years in research and management she went back to school for an MSc. in computer science and switched to a career in tech. Leyla started at SEB as a student worker in 2022 working as a Junior Business Intelligence Analyst in e-fx, then moved to her new role in August 2023.

Rajaa is a Team Manager in the Hosting & Integration Tribe at SEB. She worked as a bicycle postwoman while studying and earned a degree in behavioral science with a focus on data science. After 10 years, she pursued further studies to become a System Developer. In 2018, she joined SEB as a .NET developer, but soon realized her strength was working with people. Now, in her current role she combines her expertise in behavioral and data science to coach and develop others, while continuing to program for fun.

Kristyn Galane, a C++ developer since 2013, holds a Master's in Mathematics and a Bachelor's in Computing.
In the U.S., she worked as an adjunct math professor and application developer for a sports company. After moving to Sweden, she took on various developer roles, including mobile forensics at MSAB. Currently, she’s a C++ developer on the SEBIS team at SEB, where she’s been for 1.5 years, working to future-proof and improve the codebase. She's also a code mentor at Pink Programming in Stockholm!
