30 November 13:00-17:00Scionova Office's, Gothenburg

Last Pink Sunday for this season, Gothenburg!

Let's wrap up the season with a bang - if you've been thinking of joining but haven't had the chance this is your opportunity✨

The superpower isn’t AI - it’s the human mind! Join Mamta Srinivas, full stack developer, as she shows how software engineers see patterns, simplify complexity, and design systems that last. The world is only half-digitized, and the biggest industries are still running on old systems, waiting for a digital makeover.

And we can't forget our beginner-friendly workshop! Together with Irina Ericson, System developer, we’ll explore how tools like UiPath can handle repetitive tasks that used to eat up your time. Through hands-on exercises, you’ll see how RPA (Robotic Process Automation) makes work faster, smoother, and more accurate - all while having fun experimenting with automation!

And the best part? You’ll be sharing the experience with your peers, fika in hand, swapping ideas, laughs, and discoveries. Come join us for a Pink Sunday in all its glory and explore the exciting world of automation together!

Inspirational Session & Coding Workshop

The Inescapable Code: Why Software Engineering Still Holds the Master Key

Session by: Mamta Srinivas

Even in an era of AI-generated code, the world remains only half-digitized. Core industries - construction, agriculture, energy, and government - still run on outdated systems, waiting for transformation. The true power of software engineering isn’t just in writing code, but in the engineering mindset that sees patterns, simplifies complexity, and builds systems that endure. As automation takes over routine tasks, it’s this human ability to think abstractly, design resilient architectures, and lead digital change that becomes the new superpower. This talk explores how software engineers—through creativity, structure, and vision - hold the master key to modernising the vast parts of our world that are still waiting to be coded.

Mamta is a full-stack software developer at Plejd. A few years ago, she seamlessly transitioned from being an architect designing stadiums and malls globally to crafting the intricate code that powers Plejd's internal systems. An Indian who lived and worked mostly in Kuwait before finding her place in Sweden, her international background adds a delightful twist to her professional profile. A hacker by heart and a traveler at soul, she enjoys exploring the intersection of coding and architecture, along with a side gig in web/graphic design and AI-driven apps.

Let the Robot Do It! - Hands-On with UiPath

Workshop by: Irina Ericson

In this workshop, we explore the concept of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and its impact on everyday work. We start by getting familiar with UiPath, a leading automation platform, and learn how repetitive administrative tasks can be automated through practical exercises. Participants experience how tasks that once required significant time and effort can now be completed quickly and accurately, showing how RPA can improve efficiency and quality.

Irina “Ira” Ericson works as a developer at Västra Götalandsregionen in Mariestad. Her goal is to identify processes that can be automated and to develop solutions that streamline repetitive administrative tasks. This work helps save both time and money while improving the quality of outcomes. With a background in finance and economics, Ira decided to change careers three years ago and has been working full-time as a developer for about a year. Outside of programming, she enjoys running half marathons in various European cities.
