It's time to code together again! ✨

Are you ready to start the season learning about functional programming?

This is a powerful programming paradigm that is widely used in data analytics. On top of that, we will learn about embracing conflict and finding ways to shift our perspective from fear to opportunity! Could the beginning of the fall season at Pink get any better than this?

Welcome to Pink Sunday in Malmö, an event that will be completely hosted by our star Pink volunteers!

In short, this Pink Sunday you will:

  • Learn about the principles of functional programming and the basics of Haskell in a fun programming workshop
  • Join a conversation about managing conflict like a star!
  • Meet new and old friends by kicking off the fall season together with us!

Programming language: Haskell

    Workshop level: Beginner-intermediate.
It is recommended that you have tried a bit of programming before (any language works). You don’t need to have work experience. School or your own project is totally fine! Are you self taught? No problem at all!

More details and free tickets below!

Pink Sundays are our popular coding events where women and non-binary people can meet up, code and network together!

      Embracing Conflict!
Do you become uneasy when you are in a disagreement? Or even sad when you experience a harsh tone from another person? Do you ever wish you could read somebody's mind to understand them better? Let's talk about our invisible lenses on this major and scary thing called conflict and find ways to shift our perspective from fear to opportunity. Because conflicts are part of life and managing them well is a pretty awesome skill to have.

Workshop description: We will learn the principles of functional programming and the basics of Haskell. Functional programming is a powerful programming paradigm that allows us to write abstractions in a clean and simple way and it is widely used in data analytics. In this workshop, we will go through the basics of Haskell and learn how to write simple code by using recursion, lambda functions, higher-order functions, and more

      Programming language: Haskell
