28 September 13:00-17:00Axis HQ, Lund

Get Started with GitHub and Arduino!

Pink Sundays are back - and we’re kicking things off with Axis by mixing code, circuits, and some big questions about what it really means to be “smart.”

Roll up your sleeves in a beginner-friendly workshop with Julia Jakobsson, Imaging Engineer, and Linnea Allander, Software Engineer. You’ll get hands-on with Arduino boards and learn the basics of GitHub. Never touched a circuit board before? Perfect. This session is all about curiosity, experimentation, and discovering how circuits and code come together while building something fun from scratch.

In our inspirational session Rebecca Svensson, Audio Analytics Engineer, and Susanne Regnell, Engineering manager, will dive into the question “Am I smart? Am I good enough?” - exploring what intelligence really means and opening up for a candid Q&A.

As always, Pink Sunday isn't only learning something new. It’s also about meeting others in tech, hanging out, and connecting across teams and interests.

Code & Circuits: Getting Started with GitHub and Arduino

Workshop by: Julia Jakobsson & Linnea Allander

The workshop will consist of two parts; firstly an introduction to GitHub, a collaborative tool for software development, and secondly a hands-on project using Arduino hardware and IDE.

Julia is working as an imaging engineer,
which means working a lot with image quality regarding both hardware and software. Julia mainly uses python but sometimes also needs to read other languages as well.

Linnea has been part of the new Axis Graduate Program for the past year, having had 3 different roles within Axis. Currently developing an API for testing in production. Typically coding in C and C++ but occasionally also uses Python.
