Pub-coding: Generative art with R

Join us as we'll be part of this year's Vetenskapsfestivalen, one of Europe’s largest popular science festivals, happening April 1-6 in Gothenburg!

With this year’s theme 'Futures', the festival explores new ideas, innovations, and perspectives - making it the perfect space to discuss the future of tech and diversity.

Pub-Coding
As part of the festival we'll host a Pub-Coding session, featuring a hands-on workshop led by Juulia Suvilehto, Staff Data Scientist. Together, we’ll explore generative art with R, using mathematical formulas and randomness to create stunning digital artwork—no prior coding experience needed!

    Panel discussion
But that’s not all! We’re also hosting an inspiring panel discussion featuring our Pink community:

    • Sara Leth - System developer
    • Fatemeh Akbarifar - Software Engineer Student
    • Mamta Srinivas - Full stack developer

Hear firsthand as they share their diverse journeys into the world of IT, challenges, and visions for the future of the industry.

So join us at Contrast Public House, for an evening of creativity, coding, and conversation. Grab a drink, connect with the tech community, and explore the artistic side of programming, see you there!
