Optimizing Your GitHub Profile

Our highly popular GitHub workshop has finally made its way to Malmö - a Pink Sunday where we'll help you optimize your GitHub profile and build your developer brand!

In this hands-on workshop, we'll cover everything from writing compelling repository descriptions to showcasing your projects effectively. Whether you’re just starting out with GitHub or looking to polish your profile, this session is packed with practical tips that will help you stand out in the developer community.

But it’s not just about the technical side of things. As you progress in your developer journey, you may start to ask yourself: What happens after landing your first role? What do you do when imposter syndrome kicks in? In a panel discussion we’ll touch on these questions and open up about the challenges we face, the lessons learned, and how to stay in your technical role once you've made it there.

A day of practical tips, open conversation, and a chance to learn from each other’s experiences - something you won’t want to miss!

Inspirational Session & Coding Workshop

Destination Developer

Panel: Samantha Huyn, Tshepiso Lehutjoh & Aleksandra Magdziarek

What happens when you've made it to the destination? You took the decision, you did all the work, and finally landed your first role as a developer. What now? Is the work what you imagined? Who do you turn to regarding your imposter experience? And why do non-technical tasks keep landing on your table (and if you even noticed)? Sharing the different paths to become a developer is awesome! Now, we want to invite you to a conversation about what happens after, and more specifically, the work it takes to _stay_ in your technical role.

Please join us when we open up about the many moments of doubt, lessons learned, and the golden nuggets found along the way.
